Cristiano Ronaldo has got used to being man-marked over the years – and now the Portuguese forward has taken the meaning to a new level off the pitch.
As the 36-year-old made his way to training on Thursday morning, Ronaldo was seen driving his plush Bentley to Carrington with his two personal bodyguards following very closely behind.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side could have done with the added protection at the back against West Ham, with Manuel Lanzini scoring a ninth-minute winner to send the Red Devils crashing out.
Ronaldo was left out of the squad to face the Hammers, with Solskjaer instead opting to rest the Portuguese forward for this weekend’s visit of Aston Villa.
And it’s not the first time Ronaldo has been pictured with his security guards, either.
The duo were snapped by photographers helping Ronaldo board a plane with the rest of the United team earlier this month as they made their way to Switzerland to take on Young Boys in the Champions League – a game which Ronaldo scored in but United spectacularly lost in stoppage time.

The two men are usually glued to Ronaldo’s side after being tasked with keeping him safe and out of trouble upon his return to England.
While the two security guards have been with Ronaldo for a while now, reports suggest that the player employed round the clock security to protect him, given his superstar status.
A report from the Daily Star claimed that his team of bodyguards comprises of former soldiers, police officers and ‘close protection officers’.
