MUMBAI: The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) on Monday informed that the maximum city reported 402 new Covid-19 cases The total caseload has reached 7,31,563.
In the last 24 hours, 577 people were discharged from hospitals post making a full recovery. So far, 7,07,129 patients have been discharged from hospitals after recovery.
There are 6,349 active patients in Mumbai.
Unfortunately, 14 people succumbed to the virus, taking the death toll to 15,716. Out of the 14 patients, nine had co-morbidities.
The recovery rate in Mumbai is 97 per cent and the doubling rate is 1,034 days.
The BMC has declared six areas as ‘Active Containment Zones’ and sealed off 62 buildings to contain the spread of the virus.
